Our Dorset flock is registered as “PRAIRIE ROSE”, as they are raised in the Rural Municipality of Prairie Rose #309.  The Dorset flock was started with Ewes from Bonnie Tweedie (Bare Hills Dorset’s) of Delisle SK. and John & Edith Williams of Ponoka, AB.  We focus on raising practical sheep that are productive and easy to keep around.  We also do some showing, but our main purpose for breeding is lamb production & meat.  Currently have 35 registered Dorset ewes that typically lamb in February with a safe average of 190-200% at lambing time.
